Ariel Gibberman, MA, CCC-SLP

Welcome!

I’m Ariel, a certified speech-language pathologist licensed in Virginia, Maryland, and DC.

I've always been interested in the many ways we connect—with each other and the world around us. This led me to study poetry and studio art at the University of Virginia, and later to pursue a master’s degree in speech-language pathology at The George Washington University.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan in a variety of settings—including skilled nursing, memory care, home health, inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, and public and charter schools. I am equally passionate about working with children and adults, and I specialize in AAC, gestalt language processing, aphasia, and cognitive-communication.

As a neurodivergent clinician, I bring both lived experience and professional expertise to my practice. My work is grounded in respect, the celebration of differences, and a deep commitment to honoring every person’s unique way of communicating.
